misc: qpnp-misc: Add support for TWM mode
TWM (Traditional watch mode) is a low power mode supported on the BG platform. PMIC is configured differently while entering into TWM mode. Add a sysfs node to - 1. Allow the BG daemon to enable/disable TWM mode. echo 1 > /sys/class/pmic_twm/twm_enable --> Enable TWM mode echo 0 > /sys/class/pmic_twm/twm_enable --> Clear TWM mode 2. Allow the BG daemon to check the TWM_EXIT state. cat /sys/class/pmic_twm/twm_exit Value of "1" indicates exit from TWM state Also, add a notifier to notify other modules of the TWM enable configuration. ANDROID: uid_sys_stats: Replace tasklist lock with RCU in uid_cputime_show
Tasklist lock is acuquired in uid_cputime_show for updating the stats for all tasks in the system. This can potentially disable preemption for several milli seconds. lkdtm: turn off kcov for lkdtm_rodata_do_nothing:
[ Upstream commit 7064dc7fc13b2994d33ae540ffb7a3a05ac463bf ] I ran into a link error on ARM64 for lkdtm_rodata_do_nothing: drivers/misc/built-in.o: In function `lkdtm_rodata_do_nothing': :(.rodata+0x68c8): relocation truncated to fit: R_AARCH64_CALL26 against symbol `__sanitizer_cov_trace_pc' defined in .text section in kernel/built-in.o I did not analyze this further, but my theory is that we would need a trampoline to call __sanitizer_cov_trace_pc(), but the linker (correctly) only adds trampolines for callers in executable sections. Disabling KCOV for this one file avoids the build failure with no other practical downsides I can think of. The problem can only happen on kernels that contain both kcov and lkdtm, so if we want to backport this, it should be in the earliest version that has both (v4.8). Fixes: |

BACKPORT: treewide: Fix function prototypes for module_param_call()
Several function prototypes for the set/get functions defined by
module_param_call() have a slightly wrong argument types. This fixes
those in an effort to clean up the calls when running under type-enforced
compiler instrumentation for CFI. This is the result of running the

drivers/misc: add protection for probe order changes
HDCP driver can get probed before the SDE driver causing empty device handles to be stored in the device related structures. Add protection for such cases by checking the validitiy of the handle and storing it if necessary. qseecom: block system signals when waiting for listener available
Make change to block system signals when qseecom is waiting for a blocked listener becomes available. This will prevent qseecom being waken up by power collapse and returning to kernel, which may cause XPU violation as TA req/resp buffer is still XPU protected at this time. cxl: Check if vphb exists before iterating over AFU devices
commit 12841f87b7a8ceb3d54f171660f72a86941bfcb3 upstream.
During an eeh a kernel-oops is reported if no vPHB is allocated to the
AFU. This happens as during AFU init, an error in creation of vPHB is
a non-fatal error. Hence afu->phb should always be checked for NULL
before iterating over it for the virtual AFU pci devices.
This patch fixes the kenel-oops by adding a NULL pointer check for
afu->phb before it is dereferenced.

eeprom: at24: correctly set the size for at24mac402

There's an ilog2() expansion in AT24_DEVICE_MAGIC() which rounds down
the actual size of EUI-48 byte array in at24mac402 eeproms to 4 from 6,
making it impossible to read it all.
Fix it by manually adjusting the value in probe().
This patch contains a temporary fix that is suitable for stable
branches. Eventually we'll probably remove the call to ilog2() while
converting the magic values to actual structs.

cxl: Force psl data-cache flush during device shutdown
[ Upstream commit d7b1946c7925a270062b2e0718aa57b42ba619c0 ] This change adds a force psl data cache flush during device shutdown callback. This should reduce a possibility of psl holding a dirty cache line while the CAPP is being reinitialized, which may result in a UE [load/store] machine check error.
