ocfs2: clear dinode links count in case of error
commit 28f4821b1b53e0649706912e810c6c232fc506f9 upstream. In ocfs2_mknod(), if error occurs after dinode successfully allocated, ocfs2 i_links_count will not be 0. So even though we clear inode i_nlink before iput in error handling, it still won't wipe inode since we'll refresh inode from dinode during inode lock. So just like clear inode i_nlink, we clear ocfs2 i_links_count as well. Also do the same change for ocfs2_symlink(). ocfs2: dlmfs: fix error handling of user_dlm_destroy_lock
commit 863e0d81b6683c4cbc588ad831f560c90e494bef upstream. When user_dlm_destroy_lock failed, it didn't clean up the flags it set before exit. For USER_LOCK_IN_TEARDOWN, if this function fails because of lock is still in used, next time when unlink invokes this function, it will return succeed, and then unlink will remove inode and dentry if lock is not in used(file closed), but the dlm lock is still linked in dlm lock resource, then when bast come in, it will trigger a panic due to user-after-free. See the following panic call trace. To fix this, USER_LOCK_IN_TEARDOWN should be reverted if fail. And also error should be returned if USER_LOCK_IN_TEARDOWN is set to let user know that unlink fail. For the case of ocfs2_dlm_unlock failure, besides USER_LOCK_IN_TEARDOWN, USER_LOCK_BUSY is also required to be cleared. Even though spin lock is released in between, but USER_LOCK_IN_TEARDOWN is still set, for USER_LOCK_BUSY, if before every place that waits on this flag, USER_LOCK_IN_TEARDOWN is checked to bail out, that will make sure no flow waits on the busy flag set by user_dlm_destroy_lock(), then we can simplely revert USER_LOCK_BUSY when ocfs2_dlm_unlock fails. Fix user_dlm_cluster_lock() which is the only function not following this. ANDROID: GKI: set vfs-only exports into their own namespace
We have namespaces, so use them for all vfs-exported namespaces so that filesystems can use them, but not anything else. Some in-kernel drivers that do direct filesystem accesses (because they serve up files) are also allowed access to these symbols to keep 'make allmodconfig' builds working properly, but it is not needed for Android kernel images. ocfs2: fix crash when initialize filecheck kobj fails
commit 7b0b1332cfdb94489836b67d088a779699f8e47e upstream.
Once s_root is set, genric_shutdown_super() will be called if
fill_super() fails. That means, we will call ocfs2_dismount_volume()
twice in such case, which can lead to kernel crash.
Fix this issue by initializing filecheck kobj before setting s_root.

When ocfs2_test_bg_bit_allocatable() called bh2jh(bg_bh), the
bg_bh->b_private NULL as jbd2_journal_put_journal_head() raced and
released the jounal head from the buffer head. Needed to take bit lock
for the bit 'BH_JournalHead' to fix this race.

ocfs2: drop acl cache for directories too
ocfs2_data_convert_worker() is currently dropping any cached acl info
for FILE before down-converting meta lock. It should also drop for
DIRECTORY. Otherwise the second acl lookup returns the cached one (from
VFS layer) which could be already stale.
The problem we are seeing is that the acl changes on one node doesn't
get refreshed on other nodes in the following case:

ocfs2: ocfs2_downconvert_lock failure results in deadlock
Usually, ocfs2_downconvert_lock() function always downconverts dlm lock to the expected level for satisfy dlm bast requests from the other nodes. But there is a rare situation. When dlm lock conversion is being canceled, ocfs2_downconvert_lock() function will return -EBUSY. You need to be aware that ocfs2_cancel_convert() function is asynchronous in fsdlm implementation. If we does not requeue this lockres entry, ocfs2 downconvert thread no longer handles this dlm lock bast request. Then, the other nodes will not get the dlm lock again, the current node's process will be blocked when acquire this dlm lock again. fs: remove mandatory file locking support
We added CONFIG_MANDATORY_FILE_LOCKING in 2015, and soon after turned it off in Fedora and RHEL8. Several other distros have followed suit. I've heard of one problem in all that time: Someone migrated from an older distro that supported "-o mand" to one that didn't, and the host had a fstab entry with "mand" in it which broke on reboot. They didn't actually _use_ mandatory locking so they just removed the mount option and moved on. This patch rips out mandatory locking support wholesale from the kernel, along with the Kconfig option and the Documentation file. If append-dio feature is enabled, direct-io write and fallocate could
run in parallel to extend file size, fallocate used "orig_isize" to
record i_size before taking "ip_alloc_sem", when
ocfs2_zeroout_partial_cluster() zeroout EOF blocks, i_size maybe already
extended by ocfs2_dio_end_io_write(), that will cause valid data zeroed
out.

ocfs2: fix snprintf() checking
The snprintf() function returns the number of bytes which would have been printed if the buffer was large enough. In other words it can return ">= remain" but this code assumes it returns "== remain". The run time impact of this bug is not very severe. The next iteration through the loop would trigger a WARN() when we pass a negative limit to snprintf(). We would then return success instead of -E2BIG. The kernel implementation of snprintf() will never return negatives so there is no need to check and I have deleted that dead code. ocfs2: fix data corruption by fallocate
When fallocate punches holes out of inode size, if original isize is in
the middle of last cluster, then the part from isize to the end of the
cluster will be zeroed with buffer write, at that time isize is not yet
updated to match the new size, if writeback is kicked in, it will invoke
ocfs2_writepage()->block_write_full_page() where the pages out of inode
size will be dropped. That will cause file corruption. Fix this by
zero out eof blocks when extending the inode size.
Running the following command with qemu-image 4.2.1 can get a corrupted
coverted image file easily.
qemu-img convert -p -t none -T none -f qcow2 $qcow_image \
-O qcow2 -o compat=1.1 $qcow_image.conv
The usage of fallocate in qemu is like this, it first punches holes out
of inode size, then extend the inode size.
fallocate(11, FALLOC_FL_KEEP_SIZE|FALLOC_FL_PUNCH_HOLE, 2276196352, 65536) = 0
fallocate(11, 0, 2276196352, 65536) = 0

treewide: remove editor modelines and cruft
The section "19) Editor modelines and other cruft" in Documentation/process/coding-style.rst clearly says, "Do not include any of these in source files." I recently receive a patch to explicitly add a new one. Let's do treewide cleanups, otherwise some people follow the existing code and attempt to upstream their favoriate editor setups. It is even nicer if scripts/checkpatch.pl can check it. If we like to impose coding style in an editor-independent manner, I think editorconfig (patch [1]) is a saner solution.
