UPSTREAM: media: rc: default to idle on at startup or after reset
Any spaces events received after a reset or startup should be discarded, so ensure the rc device is in idle mode. This also makes it much easier to detect incorrect raw events, as we will do in a following commit. Meson doesn't seem to be able to generate timeout events in hardware. So install a software timer to generate the timeout events required by the decoders to prevent "ghost keypresses". UPSTREAM: media: cec: move cec autorepeat handling to rc-core
CEC autorepeat is different than other protocols. Autorepeat is triggered
by the first repeated user control pressed CEC message, rather than a
fixed REP_DELAY.
This change also does away with the KEY_UP event directly after the first
KEY_DOWN event, which was used to stop autorepeat from starting.

UPSTREAM: media: lirc: allow lirc device to be opened more than once
This makes it possible for lircd to read from a lirc chardev, and not keep it busy. Note that this changes the default for timeout reports to on. lircd already enables timeout reports when it opens a lirc device, leaving them on until the next reboot. This implements LIRC_MODE_SCANCODE reading from the lirc device. The
scancode can be read from the input device too, but with this interface
you get the rc protocol, keycode, toggle and repeat status in addition
to just the scancode.

UPSTREAM: media: lirc: lirc interface should not be a raw decoder
The lirc user interface exists as a raw decoder, which does not make much sense for transmit-only devices. In addition, we want to have lirc char devices for devices which do not use raw IR, i.e. scancode only devices. Note that rc-code, lirc_dev, ir-lirc-codec are now calling functions of each other, so they've been merged into one module rc-core to avoid circular dependencies. Since ir-lirc-codec no longer exists as separate codec module, there is no need for RC_DRIVER_IR_RAW_TX type drivers to call ir_raw_event_register(). The use of two separate structs (lirc_dev aka lirc_driver and irctl) makes it much harder to follow the proper lifetime of the various structs and necessitates hacks such as keeping a copy of struct lirc_dev inside struct irctl. Merging the two structs means that lirc_dev can properly manage the lifetime of the resulting struct and simplifies the code at the same time. By making better use of file->private_data in lirc_dev we can avoid digging around in the irctls[] array, thereby simplifying the code. External drivers need to use lirc_get_pdata() instead of mucking around in file->private_data. The newly introduced lirc_init_pdata() function isn't very elegant, but it's a stopgap measure which can be removed once lirc_zilog is converted to rc-core. msm: vidc_3x: Add new video driver to support CMA buffers
- current driver does not support if input and output buffers allocated in CMA region with stage1 translation bypassed. To accept such kind of buffers by video firmware, all context banks has to be detached and attached with new CMA address ranges. - Also video firmware needs be unload and load to protect nonsecure and secure accordingly. - Added new video driver node which indicates video session buffers comes from CMA region, it helps video firmware configure at beginning of session creation. This warning happens because the shift operation is implicitly converted
to a boolean in v4l2_device_mask_call_all before being negated. This can
be solved by just comparing the mask result to 0 explicitly so that
there is no boolean conversion. The ultimate goal is to enable
-Wtautological-compare globally because there are several subwarnings
that would be helpful to have.
For visual consistency and avoidance of these warnings in the future,
all of the implicitly boolean conversions in the v4l2_device macros
are converted to explicit ones as well.

boundary->width and boundary->height are sizes relative to
boundary->left and boundary->top coordinates, but they were not being
taken into consideration to adjust r->left and r->top, leading to the
following error:
Consider the follow as initial values for boundary and r:

}

.left = 0,
.top = 0,
.width = 1920,
.height = 960,
}
calling v4l2_rect_map_inside(&r, &boundary) was modifying r to:

Which is wrongly outside the boundary rectangle, because:
v4l2_rect_set_max_size(r, boundary); // r->width = 800, r->height = 600
...
if (r->left + r->width > boundary->width) // true
r->left = boundary->width - r->width; // r->left = 800 - 800
if (r->top + r->height > boundary->height) // true
r->top = boundary->height - r->height; // r->height = 600 - 600
Fix this by considering top/left coordinates from boundary.

media: cec: make cec_get_edid_spa_location() an inline function
[ Upstream commit b915bf575d5b7774d0f22d57d6c143e07dcaade2 ] This function is needed by both V4L2 and CEC, so move this to cec.h as a static inline since there are no obvious shared modules between the two subsystems. This patch, together with the following ones, fixes a dependency bug: if CEC_CORE is disabled, then building adv7604 (and other HDMI receivers) will fail because an essential function is now stubbed out. msm: camera: CSID virtualization
This mechanism allows to take control over camera data path in order to limit access to the camera frame streams. If enabled the CSID address space is exclusively available to TEE. TEE is responsible to actually read/write the CSID registers according to the information relayed from the HLOS driver. media: v4l: event: Prevent freeing event subscriptions while accessed
commit ad608fbcf166fec809e402d548761768f602702c upstream.
The event subscriptions are added to the subscribed event list while
holding a spinlock, but that lock is subsequently released while still
accessing the subscription object. This makes it possible to unsubscribe
the event --- and freeing the subscription object's memory --- while
the subscription object is simultaneously accessed.
Prevent this by adding a mutex to serialise the event subscription and
unsubscription. This also gives a guarantee to the callback ops that the
add op has returned before the del op is called.
This change also results in making the elems field less special:
subscriptions are only added to the event list once they are fully
initialised.
