ANDROID: setlocalversion: Add a flag to keep tag info
When the kernel head is at a tagged commit, the generated kernel version will have neither the tag nor the commit hash. So, unless we manually set EXTRAVERSION in the Makefile when releasing a new kernel, it is hard to pinpoint the exact kernel release version. Alternatively, let's add an option to keep the tag info when the kernel head is at a tagged commit. This fix only helps when building kernel with build.sh. Since Android 14 has switched to Bazel, and Bazel uses a different mechanism (workspace_status_stamp.py) to set up kernel version, the fix doesn't need to go to Android 14 or newer kernel branches. UPSTREAM: Makefile: use -gdwarf-{4|5} for assembler for DEBUG_INFO_DWARF{4|5}
This is _not_ an upstream commit and just for 5.15.y only. It is based
on upstream
commit 32ef9e5054ec ("Makefile.debug: re-enable debug info for .S files").
When the user has chosen not to use their compiler's implicit default
DWARF version (which changes over time) via selecting
- CONFIG_DEBUG_INFO_DWARF4 or
- CONFIG_DEBUG_INFO_DWARF5
we need to tell the compiler this for Asm sources as well as C sources.
(We use the compiler to drive assembler jobs in kbuild, since most asm
needs to be preprocessed first). Otherwise, we will get object files
built from Asm sources with the compiler's implicit default DWARF
version.
For example, selecting CONFIG_DEBUG_INFO_DWARF4 would produce a DWARFv5
vmlinux, since it was a mix of DWARFv4 object files from C sources and
DWARFv5 object files from Asm sources when using Clang as the assembler
(ex. `make LLVM=1`).

ANDROID: kbuild: Search external devicetree path when running clean target
When running the clean target, kbuild is supposed to remove dtbs and
dtbos. However, kbuild only searches for those devicetree build
artifacts in the directory that the kernel binaries or kernel modules
are output to. This is not sufficient in cases where an external
devicetree is used, so include the external devicetree path when
searching for dtb and dtbo build artifacts.

io_uring: move to separate directory

hardening: Remove Clang's enable flag for -ftrivial-auto-var-init=zero
commit 607e57c6c62c00965ae276902c166834ce73014a upstream. Now that Clang's -enable-trivial-auto-var-init-zero-knowing-it-will-be-removed-from-clang option is no longer required, remove it from the command line. Clang 16 and later will warn when it is used, which will cause Kconfig to think it can't use -ftrivial-auto-var-init=zero at all. Check for whether it is required and only use it when so.
